Residenza started in 2008 with one desk on Upper Street. Three offices later, every agent still covers a patch they can walk in an afternoon.
Our story
One desk, one street, one idea
Eleanor Hart opened the first office after twelve years at a large chain, convinced that people selling the most valuable thing they own deserved more than a rota of negotiators. The idea was simple: one agent, from the valuation to the keys, on a patch small enough to know properly.
The Notting Hill office followed in 2014 and Clapham in 2019. Each one opened only when we had an agent who already lived there and wanted to run it. We still turn down instructions outside our six neighbourhoods, and still answer the phone ourselves.
